Jesus said: "As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." John 20:21 Well, guys, tadaima!! (I'm home!!) I got home Monday afternoon. Honestly though, this is the first time I've felt coherent enough to write a quality journal entry about my adventure. Why, you ask? ~Jetlag. It's AWFUL coming home. US to Japan wasn't a big deal. But Japan to America? I became a creature of the night. I'm just now starting to get readjusted. ~Perscription pain-killers. Friends, heed this lesson: jumping off large rocks into rivers is very thrilling and lots of fun. Just be careful how you hit the water. You just might end up with a cracked rib. Anyway, e

Nippon=Japan, for all you confused souls. Anyway, yeah! Japan. I'm sort of leaving for the land of the rising sun Friday morning. I am: EXCITED! NERVOUS! THRILLED! ANXIOUS! PUMPED! And all those other things you get when you're going overseas for the first time! I'm going for a missions trip. We're doing a vacation-bible-school type thing for Fukushima refugees, visiting with church members and missionaries, and doing some disaster relief along the way.  Your prayers and good vibes will be appreciated for the time I'm there :) So, we got.... 50 Kids 26 Hours in the air, 17 Hours on the road, 12 Hours of disaster relief, 6 Teama

What's that you say? "Snu! I'm afraid of needles! Snu! I'm afraid of blood! Snu! I'm afraid of doctors!" Yeah, you know what? There's plenty of people out there who are afraid of losing their family members. Maybe they have leukemia or another blood disease (there's one life you could save). Maybe a baby delivery didn't go

Thank you for adding Writing ANGST! to your Fav's! I hope it proves helpful.
Of course! In my opinion, angst is one of those maker-or-breaker things of a story. This is super helpful for gettin' it right!
I'm glad you liked it!
-- I understand about Angst making or breaking a story. Because I know the cycle emotions are supposed to run, if someone doesn't get the stages righ, I close the story--or toss the book.
